Reading Resolutions
I start every year by choosing several books to read over the next 12 months. This year I found everything I need at the Seventh Day Adventist Thrift Store in Franklin, North Carolina. The books are varied and cover a wide range of topics.
foreign cultures and travel,
and books about military history, including a novel described as "the liveliest, gayest, most delightful in years" by the San Francisco Call-Bulletin.
There are studies of popular sports, hobbies and trends,
and books to cozy-up with in bed.
There is self-improvement
and even politics and history:
(which came with its own bookmark, possibly by a member of the Peekin' Place Club of Lake County, Florida)
